The current project, ISEP III, is the third tender awarded to the ISS by the capital of Saxony. It is primarily targeted at a subspatial integrated planning of sport development. ISEP III (FoSep) in Dresden is funded as a model project in the research area “Sport Facilities and Sport Development” of the ExWoSt (“Experimental Residential Building and City Development”) program. ExWoSt is funded by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs (BMVBS) and coordinated by the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development (BBSR) within the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR).
